Southern States is an independent and locally owned home inspection Services Company serving 7 counties in North Central Florida. Though we are new to the area we are not new to the home inspection industry, as graduates of the American Home Inspection Training Institute we are backed with the experience and knowledge of more than 80,000 home inspections performed nationwide.

All Southern States inspectors have previous experience in various areas of the housing industry before training to become home inspectors. But more importantly each is thoroughly trained, tested and certified by the American Home Inspection Training Institute (AHITI) to observe, analyze, and report on each component of a house in an accurate and unbiased manner. The AHITI course is taught per the ASHI, NAHI, & CREIA standards of practice which represent the highest standards in the home inspection industry for more than 25 years.

All Southern States inspectors were selected and trained not only in the inspection skills necessary to perform the best home inspection available in the industry today, but thoroughly trained in communications skills, giving each the ability to explain their findings to our clients in clear and understandable terms. Since it is our goal to continually improve our reporting skills we request each Southern States client complete a brief but informative customer survey designed to identify areas that may require our improvement.
